This fundraiser proudly supports Wounded Heroes Australia, a national grassroots charity providing 24/7 emergency crisis support to Australian Defence Force members, veterans, and their families. When life takes an unexpected turn, Wounded Heroes steps in immediately to provide essential support such as food, fuel, emergency accommodation, and urgent financial assistance.
Many of the people Wounded Heroes supports are facing sudden hardship — homelessness, financial crisis, family and domestic violence, or medical emergencies. In these moments, timely help can make all the difference. The organisation works quickly and compassionately to stabilise situations and ensure individuals and families have the support they need to move forward with dignity.
Importantly, Wounded Heroes Australia receives no government funding for its crisis support work, meaning every dollar raised through community events like this one directly helps keep that lifeline available.
