About our Ipswich Veterans Centre

The Wounded Heroes Australia - Veterans Centre Ipswich houses our head office, an Op Shop and Jim’s Café. Proceeds from our Op Shop and Jim's Cafe go towards our crisis support for veterans and their families. 

Op Shop

Our Op Shop provides a valuable service to both veterans and the greater community with low cost and affordable clothing, shoes, furniture, home décor as well as merchandise for purchase.

Generously donated items allow our charity to sustainably fundraise through Op Shop sales. They also enable us to provide practical support to veterans and their families in need of basics like furniture and clothing. Overall, donations to our Op Shop help us assist people in crisis, including those transitioning from homelessness to stable accommodation.

Jim's Cafe

Jim’s Café also welcomes both veterans and the community to come together in a casual, relaxed environment for great meals and beverages at an affordable price. The café has a selection of sweets, savoury options, hearty meals, wraps, toasted sandwiches, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, mochas, milk shakes and other cold beverages.
