19 Sep 2024

Wounded Heroes Australia is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a generous grant of $18,000 from the Employment Training Community (ETC) through the ETC Community Support Fund.

This vital funding is part of a broader initiative, where a total of $500,000 was shared among 24 deserving organisations, each making a significant impact within their communities.

Wounded Heroes Australia, a national charity dedicated to providing support services to veterans, first responders, and their families, is honored to be one of the recipients of this much-needed funding.

Wounded Heroes Australia CEO Kim Shaw expressed her gratitude to ECT and highlighted the benefits that the funding will have to its Veterans Centre in Bundamba.

"The $18,000 grant will help us with renovations to the kitchen and air conditioning repairs," Kim says.

"We are extremely grateful to the Employment Training Community for selecting Wounded Heroes as one of the 24 organisations to benefit from this funding."

"Every dollar goes directly towards making a difference in the lives of these heroes and their families."

The ETC Community Support Fund is designed to assist non-profit organisations that provide important services and training opportunities to communities across Australia.
