About Food4Heroes
Food4Heroes supports former Australian Defence Force personnel and their families, while also extending opportunities to the broader community. This includes individuals living with disability, those experiencing mental health challenges, First Nations peoples, people re-entering the workforce, the long-term unemployed, both young and mature job seekers, and individuals with English as a second language.
The program provides practical, entry-level skills training designed to prepare participants for employment in the hospitality industry. By building confidence, capability, and workplace readiness, Food4Heroes creates meaningful pathways to sustainable employment and greater community connection.
