Wounded Heroes Australia provides immediate 24/7 crisis support to current serving Australian Defence Force members, veterans and their families when they have nowhere else to turn. Unlike many organisations, we provide practical emergency assistance, including emergency accommodation, food, fuel, utilities and other urgent financial support, often within minutes of receiving a call.
In 2025 alone, Wounded Heroes assisted 5,803 veterans and family members and delivered more than $589,000 in direct crisis assistance, yet receives no government funding for its frontline crisis response.
