Raising funds for veteran families in crisis.
Operation Tasman Endurance is an extraordinary statewide veteran awareness and fundraising campaign that will see former Australian Army serviceman and endurance athlete Stewart "Stew" Prior run 400 kilometres from Stanley to Hobart in just 72 hours.
More than an ultra-endurance challenge, this initiative is designed to become one of Tasmania's largest veteran awareness and community engagement events of 2026, bringing together veterans, families, businesses, local councils, emergency services, community organisations, and the broader public in support of those who have served our nation.
Partnering with Wounded Heroes Australia, the event aims to raise awareness of veteran homelessness, mental health challenges, family hardship, and the difficulties many face when transitioning from military service to civilian life.
Our fundraising target is $100,000+, which will directly support veterans and families experiencing crisis situations across Australia.
