Wounded Heroes Australia received a heart-warming email this week about a veteran it had helped last week.

"I am writing to thank-you and Wounded Heroes for your support on behalf of a Veteran in providing them with a fuel voucher last week.

This veteran was able to use the fuel voucher to attend the funeral/Memorial Service in Victoria (from NSW) and reports a significant increase in their mental health for being able to attend, connect / reconnect with friends and family members and participate in saying goodbye together.

This veteran expressed their gratitude and thanks for the support received, advising that this would assist with healing of grief following the passing of a family friend.
