True Blue Yarn is more than a podcast — it’s a platform built to honour real stories, real people, and the strength behind them.

Through powerful conversations with veterans, we shine a light on what often goes unseen — the battles after service, the weight carried in silence, and the resilience it takes to keep going.

This fundraiser is in support of Wounded Heroes Australia, a national charity providing 24/7 crisis support to current and former Australian Defence Force members and their families. They deliver immediate, practical assistance — from emergency housing and food, to mental health and rehabilitation support — for those facing some of life’s toughest moments.  

Every story shared on True Blue Yarn has one common thread — courage. But courage doesn’t end when service does. Many veterans continue to fight battles long after they come home, and that’s where organisations like Wounded Heroes step in — often when there is nowhere else to turn.

This cause is deeply important to me because these are not just stories — these are people. People who have risked their lives for our country, and who deserve support, dignity, and a community that stands beside them.
