Raising funds for veteran families in crisis.
Mental health plays a vital role in all of our lives, but for those in high-pressure roles, paramedics, firefighters, police, and defence the burden can be overwhelming. Too many of our veterans and first responders carry scars both seen and unseen, long after their service ends.
This December, my best mate Caleb and I are running the Great Northern Walk, a 250km trek from Newcastle to Sydney. It’s a brutal physical and mental challenge with rugged bush tracks, steep climbs, and river crossings pushing us to our limits. But we’re doing it to raise funds for Wounded Heroes, a charity that provides urgent mental health care, crisis housing, and support to veterans and their families when they need it most.
We’re choosing to put ourselves through something tough, to honour those who are already fighting battles far greater than ours. Every donation will go directly to supporting them. Together, we can stand beside those who’ve always stood for us
